Hannah and Josh had certain things in mind when looking at venues

The venue needed to be in their beloved Cornwall with beautiful views, it also needed to have enough accommodation for their families, most were travelling a long way. The couple also planned a longer stay to make the most of the time with their family and friends. And finally, of great importance, Hannah and Josh wanted a venue where they would feel beautifully relaxed and completely at ease on the day!

Trevenna ticked all the boxes...

Thanks to the venues great location, set up and amazing staff who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make their day perfect!!

The dress

Hannah chose a dress by Justin Alexander from Prudence Gowns, the style of the dress she chose was not something she was expecting!

Hannah would advise...

all brides to go to several different stores with all your bridesmaids and mums to enjoy the experience of trying on many dresses! Take your time being spoilt and try on all different styles (even if you think it won't suit you) because it might surprise you!!

Hannah's dress was a beautiful drop waist ball gown in ivory and it swung like a bell when she moved! Hannah also had a full-length veil trimmed with lace which got lost in the wind on the day but it made her feel like a princess and why not have a little extravagance on your wedding day.

"The important thing is you're comfortable because you will be in it all day and it's true what they say...you will know when you've found the one so don't rush the process!! Have fun!!"

Favourite part of the day

Seeing one another for the first time knowing how happy they both were in that moment made them both cry. Their speeches which were thoughtful and emotive, the perfect balance of funny and emotional which made Hannah and Josh feel so blessed to have such great friend's and family. And of course the dancing. The wedding party partied into the early hours of the morning with their nearest and dearest making amazing (and some embarrassing) memories that they will cherish forever!!

Supplier selection

Hannah and Josh selected their suppliers carefully, for Hannah it was important that each person involved with their day got their wedding vision! Hannah researched online and met with different suppliers and photographers at wedding fairs and she just knew when she had found "the right ones"!!

Top tip for brides

Don't stress!! Do your planning beforehand and enjoy it so on the day everyone else takes care of it so you can enjoy your day!

Top tip for grooms

Enjoy the day and remember to look at your bride as often as you can because she will be glowing more than usual and that is because of you!!!
