The Wedding of Clare and James at Tredudwell Manor
Clare and James chose Tredudwell Manor because even on a rainy day in January when they looked around they both instantly fell in love.
"The venue itself ticked all of our boxes - fitting in big numbers, being able to have everything in one place for the weekend, a beautiful venue"
The couple were so delighted to find out that Tredudwell is also close to the sea, perfect for photos!
Amber from Liberty Peal Photography was their photographer, she was chosen because Clare loves her work.
"Amber has the ability to catch the natural moments as well as the beauty of the venue, the day and so much more"
Clare and James did not have a theme as such they simply put together bits of everything they loved. They love Cornwall and named their tables with all the places they love, this idea helped with their seating plan too. They wanted a natural feel, their colour scheme was pastel blue and pink with hints of copper.

Wedding Flowers by Annas Flower Barn
Anna from Annas Flower Barn was recommended to the couple so Clare did a little research online and after seeing photos of her work on social media Clare had to arrange a meeting.
"Once we met Anna it was obvious she had a great knowledge of flowers. She was exactly what we wanted and she also knew the venue. This instantly put me at ease whilst James just sat and nodded through the meeting, haha!"
Jamie Beetham from Beetham Food was selected by the couple to create their delicious wedding feast.
"Not only is he an amazing cook but a great character, a typical Cornish man which we loved. His food and the team were amazing, we need another excuse to eat it all over again!"
The Dress
"Clare loved her dress!! She didn’t initially choose it, the bridal boutique suggested a few different options and soon she had found the one - one that she fell in love with. The dress was by Sophia Tolli called Jacqui".
Clare wore Charlotte Mills shoes, her bridesmaids gifted her with a bracelet, the groom gave her earrings and Clare's mum gave her a bridal clutch bag. An acorn heart and horseshoe were made by relatives.
There were many favourite parts of the wedding day for Clare and James.
"I loved lots of different parts for different reasons. I had so much fun getting ready in the morning with the girls and mums.
James seeing me as his bride for the first time, the ceremony for obvious reasons. My emotions got the better of me.
Having some time as a newly married couple for photos with amazing views out to sea. Our reception, all of our loved ones in one place and the grooms speech".
Top Tip for Brides!
"Be as organised as you can be when planning. Having time was good for us meant we didn’t rush into any decisions and could get exactly what we wanted within a reasonable budget.
Brides don’t get carried away by Pinterest...but it’s great for ideas and a great excuse to get creative! It’s amazing how much you can do yourself or even use your friends and families talents to help! Plus don’t get caught up on the little things as they really don’t matter on the day.
It’s so magical to see everything you have planned come together on the day and everyone enjoy themselves. Just relax and enjoy every moment. It’s about making memories for you both as a couple!"
