Pencarrow Harriet and Dominic
Having visited Pencarrow countless of times walking their dogs and just for their own pleasure, both adoring the setting, the nature, and the house, as soon as they were engaged it was their only real option.
Their photographer was Laura Buffrey Photography, initially, Harriet and Dominic filtered down their options based on styles they both liked and met a few of their favourites, upon meeting Laura it was clear she was by far the best option for them, she totally understood what they wanted from the day, the key shots they were looking to capture and how they wanted them to look.
Suppliers were selected in a similar way "We narrowed down a shortlist of our favourite suppliers and then met as many face-to-face as we could, it is crucial I find to having confidence that the person on the other end of a phone has a true understanding of how you want your day to be (special mention to our caterers The Good Food Company and videographer Dove Films who were amazing throughout the process)"
The dress. Harriets dress was a Pronovias gown, it was made of layers of chantilly lace and large floral embroidered lace laid over the top. It was the illusion neckline and beautiful back detailing that made Harriet fall in love with it. "I absolutely loved my dress and it was the exact opposite of what I thought I wanted".
Favourite part of the wedding for Harriet and Dominic was getting married outside in front of the fountain, surrounded by their friends and family!
What would be your top tip for brides?
"My advice would be is to get an accurate estimate of how much your alterations are going to cost before you purchase the dress (and don’t be afraid to shop around)...I had already bought mine when I found out that the alterations would cost the same amount as the gown itself, which was way outside of my budget!"
What would be your top tip for grooms?
"Many people will tell you how you should expect to feel the morning of the wedding, none of them will be correct for you, just trust that how you are feeling is normal and own it!"
