The Wedding of Beth and Chris at The Green Cornwall, Liskeard

With family spread out across the south-west country, Beth and Chris needed to pick a place that would be suitable for everyone to drive to which gave the couple a vague geographic location of where to start looking. Beth then saw a Facebook add for The Green in Cornwall and decided to book a visit. They both instantly fell in love with the venue and booked a date on that first viewing. They didn’t even need to look anywhere else because they both knew right away it was what they both wanted.

Their photographer was Alexa Poppe who was highly recommended by The Green. The beautiful flowers were by Fuller Blooms at eeek! HQ we love the buttonholes.

The Dress

Beth and her maid of honour booked a couple of wedding dress viewings in Truro and ended up finding the perfect dress during one of these bookings. It was a vintage style dress. Beth wanted a short dress so she could show off her amazing shoes! She loved the lace scalloped detail on the edge of the dress and as soon as she put it on, she knew it was the one.

Favourite part for Beth and Chris on their wedding day...

Favourite part was the reception. They both felt so relaxed and enjoyed every moment of the speeches even giving their own! The food from The Green was incredible and the couple just loved the happy and positive atmosphere with all their family and friends in one place.

Ensure you have a relaxing evening with your close friends the night before. They will take your mind off the impending day and you’ll sleep better for it!

Top Tip for Grooms!

Relax and enjoy the day. The planning is over and the scary bit's of standing up in front of everyone isn’t that scary once you’re there. Everyone has come to support you and enjoy your day with you, so savour and enjoy it because it turns out one day isn’t that long!
