And this is exactly what couple Emily and Adam did when they approached Gemma.

“My fiancé Adam began following Gemma on Instagram over lockdown and quickly recommended her to me.  When it came to choosing wedding stationery we couldn’t decide on anything we both liked and it was actually Adam’s idea to have Gemma create an original piece for us. We approached Gemma with the idea of painting a canvas of Porth beach, where we got engaged and then using a digital print of the original painting for our Save the Date cards and wedding invitations.”

This one very special commission was the start of Gemma’s Wedding Day Shoreline Paintings.

And the artwork Gemma created was incorporated into Emily and Adam’s wedding stationery and the couple are delighted.

“Gemma was incredibly enthusiastic about the commission from the start and even suggested we have images of all of our favourite beaches for our table plans, which we loved! A few months down the line, Gemma proposed the idea of a very special wedding day commission which we were thrilled to accept. To have our engagement through to our wedding day as lifelong memories on a canvas is so exciting.  We can’t wait to see how it turns out, and to have a very special part of our wedding day captured on canvas forever.”

Although Gemma is focusing on the wedding day paintings she is also planning on creating a wedding package; from engagement to wedding stationery and finally the Wedding Day Shoreline Painting.  A very bespoke offering that will be tailored to each couple she is commissioned by.
