a natural relaxed day
Meg and Ryan chose Knightor Winery as their venue as they wanted a natural relaxed wedding day.
"We loved the feel of the place as soon as we walked in...we had such a lovely warm welcome as soon as we stepped through the door. The place has such character."
Having their hearts set on a summer outdoor wedding Knightor's outdoor setting was where their most perfect day began. As soon as they saw the romantic outdoor arbour set in front of the pond and beautiful flowers with hay bales for their guests they both instantly knew this was where they wanted to get married.
The Manor House overlooks the yard where Meg took many a sneak peek at her guests arriving (not that she was allowed by her bridesmaids!)
"They kept me up to date on the guests arriving which added to the excitement and nerves on the day"
Olivia WR Fine Art Photography
"We chose Olivia because we absolutely loved the style of the photos. The photos were always so natural and we thought it would suit our venue. Olivia and her partner Tobias are both so talented."
a natural chilled day
"The vibe of our day was a natural chilled day. We had the sun shining, traditional yard games that my father in law made for us. We didn’t want anything to be over the top we wanted a special, stress free, magical day that suited us and all of our guests."
Anna’s flower barn
"A supplier that really stood out for us was Anna’s flower barn. She made our day come to light. She really created my dream and more. The flowers were stunning and made our day."
A dress from Elaine Rawlings in Truro...she is fabulous!
"My dress was a Justin Alexander backless fine lace dress. It literally ticked every single box of my dream dress I have always dreamt about since a little girl. I got my dress from Elaine Rawlings in Truro.. she is fabulous. She made the whole experience so exciting and welcomed my family and us through the door with open arms and really gets excited with you. The favourite part about my dress was the back. I just wish I could wear it every day!"
accessories
"I kept accessories simple I had a sparkly small heart stone necklace from Swarovski and my bridesmaids surprised me with some Swarovski blue stone earrings for my wear something blue and they also happened to be my birthstone so bonus."
favourite moment of the day
"Both my husband and I favourite moment of the day was the ceremony. For me it was the moment following my six bridesmaids and dog down the aisle holding onto my dads arm with George Ezra ‘Hold my girl’ playing in the background, the sun was shining (after a stressful morning of the weather throwing rain at us), I had my dream dress on, close friends and family around me and it was the moment I saw my husband break down into tears at the end of the aisle it just hit me. We were both so emotional and so so happy I cannot even begin to explain the feelings. It gives me butterflies and goosebumps thinking about it."
Top tip
"Gradually pay off your wedding bills as you go and be extra organised. Always plan in advance because it still won’t be long enough.
Allow plenty of time to book everything and have it planned out to take away any unnecessary stress!"
