Ta Mill Anneliese and George
It was possible at Ta Mill for Anneliese and George to customise their wedding and have exactly the day they wanted with all the extra touches that made the day their own. Ta Mill also gave them the opportunity for their guests to stay on site for up to 3 nights which meant guests didn’t need to rush off the morning after the wedding.
The couple chose a venue where they would feel comfortable and relaxed on the day and found a photographer who was happy to capture the quirky moments of the day as well as the standard photos.
The food, Anneliese and George chose Good Food Catering Co, the food was great with good sized portions. The menu...warning this will make you mouth water canapés of crab chilli and ginger tartlets, bruschetta, mini Yorkshires, sweet potato boxes, starters of country pork pate, humus, aioli and for the main meal, the couple chose lamb shanks, chargrilled pepper and 3 cheese risotto torte, followed by individual pavlova. Delicious!
For the evening they had pizza from Wild Bake. As a couple, they just love making pizza's together and the wood-fired pizza from a horse box was just perfect. A really unique way of expressing themselves – plus the pizza's tasted amazing!
The Theme. The flowers! Royal Blue was the colour theme because George is colour blind and doesn’t see the red in purples and violets! Did you see the roses? Blue Roses! Alison from Flower Scene did the flowers, she has a great reputation and it was clear from their very first meeting that she was going to deliver something incredible that would fit exactly with their vision.
What advice would you give other Bride and Grooms for their planning? Make sure everyone knows what YOU would like from your day – it’s your day so have what you’d like.
