Private Venue Isobel and Chris
Isobel and Chris always wanted a blank canvas for their wedding, a very big blank canvas, they chose a field and a cow shed in the middle of the Cornish countryside.
Their suppliers were selected via recommendations from friends and family and all were local.
The dress Isobel always wanted a 1950s style wedding dress, she tried on several and was a bit disappointed and even started to move away from her original idea. But finally, she fell in love with 'the one' a strapless knee-length white dress, with a fitted corset and tulle skirt something she could twirl around in! The dress had a handmade lace bolero with pearl button detailing. It meant that she actually had two dresses! A daytime dress with the lace bolero over it and a strapless party dress for the evening. Perfect!
Highlights of their day would include their beautiful candle-lit ceremony with all of our favourite family and friends in the cow-shed (plus the distraction of a rather loud tractor driving past) the hilarious speeches, and their wedding party or 'rave' which included glow sticks and glitter paint, a sack race and the conga with the band!
Advice for future couples? Just go with what you want and not what other people want, it is your wedding day. Even if you have some crazy out there ideas... just go for it!
