Amy and Charlie’s Coastal Wedding
A Church Wedding
Amy and Charlie knew that they wanted to get married in St Mawnan Church, Amy grew up in Mawnan Smith and her parents had married in the Church years before.
Nancy May sang for Amy and Charlie at the church, an incredibly talented singer.
"She blew the congregation away with her beautiful voice."
Stewart Girvan photography
"Our decision to have Stewart Girvan as our wedding photographer was one of our easiest decisions!"
Stewart was the photographer at their friends wedding and Amy was a bridesmaid. Amy and Charlie both thought that the photos from their friends wedding were absolutely stunning, and Stewart was such a lovely guy. Plus neither Amy or Charlie like having their photo taken so Stewart's natural reportage style was perfect for them. And on the day he made them feel completely at ease.
"We absolutely love our photos and are so grateful to Stewart for really capturing our day perfectly!"
The Wedding Car
"Karen from Treverbyn Cars was wonderful and the 1930's Beauford that we had was beautiful!"
The Cake was by Bakes by Charlotte it was a Victoria sponge, coffee sponge and lemon sponge with buttercream icing.
"It looked and tasted absolutely amazing! It was exactly what we wanted and we will definitely be asking Charlotte to bake us cakes again in the future!"
Getting Ready! With Holly Luisa Hairdressing and Tamsyn Siddiqui Wedding Makeup Artist
On the day Holly from Holly Luisa Hairdressing styled Amy and all six bridesmaids creating styles that were suited to each individuals' taste but still keeping to a soft, romantic style.
"She is lovely and amazing at what she does, an absolute delight to have around on the morning of the wedding. We would highly recommend Holly!"
Tamsyn Siddiqui Wedding Makeup Artist did the make-up for Amy and her mum on the morning of the wedding. A true professional and she understood exactly what they wanted.
"Our make up was better than we could have ever imagined!"
Amy tried on about twenty-five different dresses before deciding that a Maggie Sottero dress was the one. She also chose a Ronald Joyce veil with lace trim and Rainbow club shoes. For the evening Amy wore sequinned converse and a customised leather jacket she also provided flip-flops for their guests so they could dance all night too!
Amy's favourite part
"Walking out of the church in the sunshine with my husband, seeing all our friends and family's happy faces whilst they covered us in confetti! We were so grateful that everyone made the effort to be there!"
Charlie's favourite part
"The wedding breakfast and speeches, and the attempt at photos on the very windy balcony! Those photos sum it up perfectly!"
"Be organised and don't leave too much till the last minute. Delegate, have a few people you trust to help you out with the logistics and be points of contact on the wedding day morning!
Take a moment for just the two of you, we were given that tip before our big day and we are really glad we did it!"
