Tipi Heaven

This shoot is all about capturing the change in the seasons with the colours, sights and smells all for the senses. The tipis were a wash of colour with pumpkins, autumnal fruits, candles, lighting, brass, wood and glass with paper lanterns hung from the ceiling.

Tipi Heaven

An Autumnal Bonfire Wedding Feast - Tipi Heaven. The inspiration started with the idea of a small intimate shoot with The Little Red Bus. Being an ex-fire bus Laura wanted to showcase a bonfire night shoot. Not having done a tipi wedding before Laura also wanted to show off with a high-end outdoor boho and festival styled shoot.

The location was Chew Valley Lake Weddings overlooking Chew Valley Lake, the fab tipi’s were from Tipi Events. Tipi Heaven was created! An Autumnal Bonfire Wedding Feast

This shoot is all about capturing the change in the seasons with the colours, sights and smells all for the senses. Vicky from Do.me.a.favour transformed the ideas into something stunning her vision and enthusiasm just went huge!

The tipis were a wash of colour with pumpkins, autumnal fruits, candles, lighting, brass, wood and glass with paper lanterns hung from the ceiling to compliment everything. This vibe gave the intimate feel to this very special outdoor ceremony and intimate feel to a wedding breakfast.

The weather, of course, was not on their side - they had Storm Brian!! No problem everything was warm and cosy in the tipis!

From toffee apples, fire pits and marshmallows giving this shoot a taste and mix of an Autumnal bonfire feast with light and elegance. Soft gauze, hessian and lace running the lengths of the Swedish tables with colours from flowers, leaves and soft light from the candles. Dartington Crystal glass took centre stage, showcasing local skills and crafts. Laura and Vicky incorporated "woodland" into the shoot with eucalyptus foliage, branches, logs along with the bow top caravans, the bell top tents and ribbons and lace to create romantic backdrops inside and out.

Laura cannot thank everyone enough for all of their sheer hard work, volunteering their time and energy to bring this amazing shoot to life! I'm sure you will also agree there are some pretty special suppliers in the southwest that are passionate about what they do!
